
Ezhou Gymnasium is the core sports landmark building of Ezhou City, integrating sports competitions, national fitness, theatrical performances, large-scale gatherings and other functions, and undertakes the task of holding major regional sports and cultural activities. The project covers core functional areas such as the main venue competition hall, spectator stands, and athletes' lounges, as well as supporting mechanical and electrical areas with strict environmental requirements such as central air conditioning rooms, ventilation duct systems, and equipment storage rooms.
The high requirements of large sports venues for indoor temperature and humidity control, energy consumption control and sound environment quality have given rise to the unique thermal insulation pain points of the project. The competition hall and spectator stands in the main venue have open space and high floor heights, and need to maintain a suitable room temperature for a long time. The air ducts, heating and cooling units and various transmission pipelines of central air conditioning are prone to energy loss and condensation problems due to the temperature difference inside and outside the venue and changes in space airflow. The operation of the equipment in the mechanical room also needs to be stable in the temperature and humidity environment to ensure the working conditions. In addition, sports events and theatrical performances have strict requirements for the sound environment, and insulation materials need to take into account the efficient sound absorption and noise reduction function, and multiple requirements put forward strict standards for the comprehensive performance of materials.
The selection of insulation materials for the project closely follows the core needs of energy saving, efficiency, safety and comfort for large stadiums. In the main venue air duct system and mechanical and electrical equipment insulation engineering, the selected insulation materials are suitable for the working conditions of large space and high airflow of the venue, and have both efficient thermal insulation, fire and flame retardant and excellent sound absorption and noise reduction functions. At the same time, the selected materials meet the green building standards, meet the strict requirements of environmental protection and cleanliness in public cultural and sports venues, and are highly consistent with the construction concept of building high-quality cultural and sports landmarks and low-carbon operations.
