The product’s core is our B1 fireproof NBR/PVC foam board, manufactured with a closed-cell structure that delivers exceptional thermal insulation and acoustic performance, while the high-quality aluminum foil facing is laminated to the foam board using a strong, high-temperature resistant adhesive, ensuring a permanent and secure bond that does not delaminate over time. The aluminum foil facing acts as a highly effective thermal reflector, reflecting up to 95% of solar radiation and infrared heat, which significantly enhances the thermal insulation efficiency of the product, especially in outdoor or exposed applications such as roof insulation, external wall insulation and HVAC duct insulation. This thermal reflection capability not only reduces heat gain in summer but also minimizes heat loss in winter, leading to substantial energy savings for buildings and industrial facilities. In addition to thermal reflection, the aluminum foil facing provides an impermeable barrier against moisture, water vapor and air, preventing condensation, mold growth and corrosion on the underlying surfaces, and extending the service life of the insulation system and the protected structures. The aluminum foil is also resistant to UV radiation, aging and mechanical damage, making the product suitable for long-term outdoor use without additional protective coatings. Like all our NBR/PVC foam products, this aluminum foil faced variant holds a B1 fireproof rating, complying with strict fire safety standards, and it exhibits excellent chemical resistance, oil resistance and dimensional stability, performing reliably in a wide range of temperatures (-40°C to 120°C).
